Product Description & Details
The organic forms of these decorative terracotta pots are clearly influenced by the expressive naturalism of the Bronze Age. They are made from local Cypriot red clay following the Bronze Age ceramic techniques. The freedom in the development of the form results in endearing pots with multiple spouts and legs reminiscent of animals, tree branches and vital organs. They were exhibited at the PAST PRESENT - A contemporary approach to Cypriot Ceramic Art exhibition, December 2018, Limassol.
